Stories from the Edge of the North Kent Coast by Simon Moores.
What a coincidence! I too lost a newt recently. Many long hours I have spent wandering the garden and those adjacent calling his name ... Tiny! Tiny!I called him Tiny because he has always been my newt!
I used the link to 'Thanet Most Wanted' in your article and it seems that the web site has gone missing too! Wow - talk about a dedicated bunch!
Its Thanetsmostwanted.comthat is "Thanets" with an s, not just "Thanet"I know it should be Thanet's with an apostrophe but punctuation isn't a strongpoint in Thanet so we thought it best to leave it out.The website is still under construction but will be live within a couple of weeks, its funded by the Thanet Bureau of Investigation, that's the TBI as the FBI is limited to the USA.
I think perhaps your newt grew up to be the Lord Mayor of London. Same level of intellectual development at least.
Annon 5:07, Ken Livingston campaigned in his GLC days to save the great crested newt, there are many newts that would not be alive today if it wasn't for Ken. I suppose he is the Oscar Shindler of newts.
That's newts to me...........
No newts is good newts
