Go West

With all the fuss over the proposed 1,000+ new homes at Westwood Cross starting to surface and a special council meeting on 4th April,if any of our councillors of any party wish to examine the site from above, for a better view and understanding of the local impact, - which I would encourage - then I'm happy to act as unpaid aerial "taxi driver".

Sensibly a minimum two at a time, splitting the modest fuel cost and landing fees incurred with the inspection.

anon again!

I hope the Landing Fees at Manston are NOT as expensive as the Docking Fees set on Trans European Ferries by the TDC. Word has it that the Ferry operators are ready to quit Ramsgate & move up the Coast to Sheerness! I, for one, hope that this is not true!

I hope this is not the case! Has TDC lost the plot?

I hadn't realised earlier but TDC and KCC have certainly missed a trick as your aerial photograph clearly shows. One easy step to relieve congestion at WC could be: Link roundabout on Westwood Road at entrance to Tescos by
improving the road around Tescos to the roundabout on Margate Road into Sainsbury's; continue the road through the boundary between Sainsbury's and WC to the roundabout on Haine Road. Improving PoorHole Lane and putting a roundabout on Ramsgate Road end and looping Star Lane into the plot. This then gives an outer circle with satellite roundabouts and keeps traffic from congesting on the main WC roundabout! Pray, Councillor's from TDC and KCC was this ever considered and why is it not being considered now or is it the Clocktower Lights syndrome?

What time of day was there so little traffic on Haine Road? That's when I will use it
