I was under the impression that the Christian God gave strict instructions to a guy called Moses on some tablets of stone about this sort of thing. The Hindu faith seeme very flexible to an outsider but the C of E is risking some serious 'fire and brimstone' here.

This man has Forsight of Christ! He is bringing Religion together as best he can.... shame the Pope and Archi Bishop & ALL the other Religious leaders cannot think the same.
Is anyone doing anything similar with the Muslem?
