The BBC reports that nine more people have been arrested by police targeting the supply of class ‘A’ drugs in Thanet.
A 19-year-old man from Leytonstone, north-east London, was appearing in court on Thursday charged with supplying heroin and crack cocaine.
A man and a woman from Ramsgate in have been bailed while a further five men and one woman, all from south-east London, are still being questioned.
It brings the total number of people arrested in the operation to 31.
Twenty-two were held in co-ordinated dawn raids in Kent and London on Tuesday.
Fourteen men were all remanded in custody when they appeared before magistrates on Wednesday charged with being involved in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
A man from Margate and a woman from Ramsgate are due in court on 15th August.
Three women, one man and a 15-year-old girl were all freed on bail pending further inquiries.
One other woman was released without charge.
